Dolly Parton at the Northrop

Did you know that Dolly Parton has her own theme park? I didn't either but it's called Dollywood and it is a 'Great Smokey Mountain Family Amusement Park' located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

She will be taking a break from all the fun though and bringing her tour to Minneapolis's Northrop Auditorium at the end of February.

Dolly Parton tickets have already gone on sale, but there is still plenty of time to buy your tickets before the show on February 28th.

Dolly Parton will be at the Northrop Auditorium Thursday, February 28th at 8pm
She will be touring in support of her new album 'Backwoods Barbie' which is will be released February 26th on Dolly's label, Dolly Records. This is the first release for Dolly Records.

Northrop Sponsors

The Northrop Auditorium does a pretty good job of keeping the doors open and attracting a variety of big name stars – one thing I noticed about the Northrop is that they have a few big name corporate sponsors as well. Sponsors like Sun Country Airlines and Radisson hotels. Sun Country even has a Northrop ticket promotion where they give away free tickets to a show.

The Sun Country Airlines' First Class Leather Seats are located in Section 6, Row 12, Seats 1-2 of Northrop and Tier 1 Left, Row E, Seats 1-2 of Ted Mann Concert Hall. I hope I can win these – everyone loves free tickets!!! And wouldn’t it make a great Northrop Auditorium blog entry?!?!?!? Wish me luck!!!!

Northrop Auditorium

The Northrop Auditorium is a great intimate venue to see a big name concert on the University of Minnesota campus. I have been to a few shows at the Northrop and my Northrop blog will be about upcoming events there and my past experiences and just my night life in general.

It's tough to get tickets to Northrop events because they don't use ticketmaster, but local ticket brokers like Ticket King often have super seats. Check back soon for more posts!!!!
